How to get your first customers for an SMM panel
A new panel has no customers and no reviews. The first ones come from a clear offer and from places where buyers already look; the next ones come from the first ones. Here is what works, and what to avoid.
Start with a clear offer
Nobody switches panels for "cheap and fast". Decide who you serve and say it on your home page: a few platforms you know well, a set of services you tested yourself, a currency and payment methods that fit your buyers, and support hours you can keep. A short, tested catalogue sells better than ten thousand services nobody checked.
Put the rules where buyers can see them before they pay: start times, refill periods, what a cancel returns, and how to reach you. Clear rules are a sales argument, because the buyer's biggest fear is losing money to a panel that disappears.
Be findable in search
People search for the service they need, in their own words and language. Write a few useful pages around the services you sell: what the service does, how long it takes, what can go wrong and how refills work. Use your panel's blog, pages and SEO settings to give each page a clear title and description.
Search traffic grows slowly, but it keeps coming without paying for every visit. Publish regularly, answer real questions, and never copy text from other panels: search engines recognise copied pages, and buyers do too.
Sell to resellers through your API
Some of the biggest buyers of a panel are other panels. If your services are reliable and your prices leave them room for a margin, resellers will connect to you and send orders automatically. Your panel's reseller API speaks the common API v2 format, so they can connect without custom work. The API guide explains how the connection works on both sides.
Resellers care about three things: services that do not change without notice, statuses that update quickly, and a support contact that answers. Give them a dedicated contact and warn them before you change a price or remove a service.
Let customers bring customers
A satisfied customer is the cheapest advertising there is. An affiliate program pays customers a share of what the people they refer spend, so they have a reason to recommend you. Arty panels include an affiliate program; set a commission that your margins can carry, and pay it reliably.
Reward the customers who stay
Keeping a customer costs less than finding a new one. Lower prices at higher spending levels, a personal rate for a big buyer, and quick answers to tickets keep regular customers from shopping around. Arty panels have user levels and discounts and custom rates per customer for this; the pricing guide explains how to set them without losing your margin.
Small details help too: a clean storefront on a phone, saved favourites for repeat orders, and an installable web app so your panel sits on the customer's home screen.
Answer fast, everywhere
For a new panel, support is the product. Reply to tickets quickly, explain delays before customers ask, and refund what you promised without an argument. Many buyers prefer chat apps; if you offer one, link it from your contact page and keep it answered.
What not to do
- Do not send spam, mass messages or comments on other people's posts: it gets your domain and accounts blocked and tells buyers what kind of panel you are.
- Do not post fake reviews or fake order counters. Buyers check, and one screenshot of a fake review costs more customers than it ever brought.
- Do not compete on price alone. The lowest price attracts the buyers most likely to leave for a lower one.
- Do not sell a service you have not tested. One bad order in the first week can lose a reseller for good.
Measure what works
Note where each new customer came from: search, a reseller, a referral or a chat group. After a month, put your time into the two channels that brought the customers who stayed, not the ones who ordered once. Your panel's reports show which services and customers bring the volume.
